THE GOOD NEWS 😃 :

CCSD Celebrates Spring National Signing Day with 66 Student-Athletes! 

It's raining college commitments in Cherokee County! 🎓🏆 An impressive 66 CCSD student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent this month, bringing the 2024-25 school year total to a whopping 164 signings! From baseball diamonds to soccer fields, wrestling mats to basketball courts, these talented Warriors, Grizzlies, Eagles, Knights, and Wolverines will be taking their athletic skills to the next level at colleges across the country. Cherokee High School led the pack with 20 signings, followed by Etowah with 16, Woodstock with 12, River Ridge with 10, and Creekview with 8. Special congrats to all these hardworking athletes, their dedicated coaches, and the School Board for their continued investment in Cherokee County athletics! 🏈⚾️🏀⚽️🏊‍♀️ See the complete list of signees here.

Food Trucks & Music Return to Holly Springs This Summer! 

Mark your calendars, food and music lovers! 📅🎵 Holly Springs Town Center is bringing back both Food Truck Alley and Holly Springs Harmonies for an epic 2025 event season! Starting May 15th, Food Truck Alley will roll into the Train Depot monthly on Thursday evenings (5-8 PM), serving up delicious bites from a variety of mobile eateries. The free Holly Springs Harmonies Summer Concert Series kicks off June 14th, with additional shows on July 26th, August 23rd, and September 20th. Don't forget your blankets and camping chairs—limited seating means you'll want to come prepared for maximum comfort while you feast and groove! 🍔🎸 Follow Holly Springs Town Center on social media for upcoming food truck lineups and concert announcements. Woodstock Farm Fresh Market Expands for 2025 Season! 

Get your shopping bags ready, the Woodstock Farm Fresh Market returns this Saturday, April 26th, bigger and better than ever! 🍅🍯 This year's market is spreading its roots beyond Market Street and Reformation Brewery's Backyard to include Elm Street, creating even more space for local vendors and fresh finds. From Georgia coast seafood to locally raised meats, farm-fresh produce to handcrafted bath products, this community favorite offers a little bit of everything every Saturday from 8:30am to noon. The best part? Once it starts this weekend, the market runs weekly all the way through December 27th, giving you plenty of opportunities to support local producers and stock up on the freshest goods around! 🥖🍓🌿 Check out the complete vendor map and profiles here

• Our hometown favorite Bizarre Coffee is expanding to Roswell this fall! 🎉☕ Sabrina Kaylor's "Good Mood Juice" empire (which started at Canton farmers markets in 2020) will open its largest location yet, featuring their signature coffee plus new specialty cocktails. Congratulations to this Cherokee County success story!

• Downtown Woodstock is introducing paid parking zones starting June 1st, first hour free, then $2/hour. Don't worry, nearly 1,700 free spaces (including the multi-level deck) will remain available! 🅿️
