Woodstock's First Elected Black City Councilman Honored.Woodstock’s first Black elected city council member, William Eugene Ogletree, was honored at the city’s Feb. 26 council meeting.
The Cherokee Lady Warrior’s Basketball team is final four bound!
Cherokee claimed a 70-60 victory over Campbell, with a nail-biting 45-24 lead at halftime. Despite Campbell's spirited comeback with a 21-12 run in the third quarter, Cherokee held firm, entering the fourth quarter with a 57-45 advantage. Now, North Paulding is set to take on Cherokee at 1 p.m. this Saturday at Georgia State in Atlanta. Game on! 🏀🌟 Read more
